You have to use one of your potions on the frog. Then, use the frog on the organ lady.

The frog is in the swomp. Use the rain dancing book, and the dog wistle together, and he'll appear.

Hmmm, there's something to be said for just plain old exploration. I agree that some of these situations can be challenging, but that's the point of the game. I do know a lot of the secrets, and will tell you, if you really want to know, but isn't it fun sometimes just to figure them out for yourself? I don't mean to come across as rude, or to put you on the defensive. It's only my observations. I thought I'd go absolutely crazy trying to catch that damned frog, and the bugs were a bit of a challenge for me as well. My hearing problem didn't help any.

Post 8 by audio star (I love to post) on Sunday, 06-Jul-2008 16:47:26

well i don't mean to be lazy, maybe i am just stupid totally missing how to solve it, but i really have tried my best on this one.
yes i agree i had truble with catching the bugs.
i must say that i used a cheat f5 key to catch the frog.
thank you big bear

Hey, at least you're honest. *grin* If you really get stuck, you know where I am, although it's been quite a while since I played the game. Did you figure out how to get that lady off the organ? If so, do you know how to play the tune to get the door to open?

Post 10 by audio star (I love to post) on Sunday, 06-Jul-2008 17:15:37

yes, got the woman out of the church by using the frog.
it took me a long time to get that back door open.
it was more of a guess when it at last opened.
i just need to find a key for that toom.
and that key for the gate up to the maner.thank you
i still have no ideas where to find the blinking thing.

The key is in the statue, and the tomb is a combination lock, I think. As I said, I haven't played it in a while, so my knolege might be a bit vaguer than I realized. Sorry.

hell this game is hard.
i have tried every thing to get that key out of the statue.
i have used all of my items on the bloody thing in every possible way.
i have tried shooting it, hitting it with water balloons, tying it with rope and showing the map to it.
ok i did not expect these things to work anyway but it would be nice to get that key.

tap it with the hammer.

Post 15 by Batman413 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Monday, 07-Jul-2008 17:25:17

It's the bell you have to hit with the hammer. Three times, hit the bell, and the statue will come to life.

Post 16 by audio star (I love to post) on Monday, 07-Jul-2008 17:28:59

ok, what hammer.
well i used the coin on the well, used the lead with the rope.
got the man out of the well.
he give me a key.
this key opens the toom.
i just need to try lots of different codes.
this seems ok, and i should get it in time.
thank you

Don't u have to pay to get the full versio of chillingham? This sounds like a game I'd like.

Post 20 by DevilishAnthony (Just go on and agree with me. You know you want to.) on Tuesday, 08-Jul-2008 18:46:54

Yes, I bought it on cd. Actually, I bought grisley gulch and chillingham together and got a bit of a discount.

I like Grizzly Gulch better than Chillingham. Chillingham annoyed me.

Post 22 by DevilishAnthony (Just go on and agree with me. You know you want to.) on Tuesday, 08-Jul-2008 19:16:46

Probably because the people in Chillingham are so unfriendly. It's supposed to be that way though, plus, chillingham is a bit more complex, I think.

Post 23 by audio star (I love to post) on Wednesday, 09-Jul-2008 5:16:25

i have not tried gg, but i might by it if it is good as, or better then chillingham.

Post 24 by DevilishAnthony (Just go on and agree with me. You know you want to.) on Wednesday, 09-Jul-2008 5:38:36

It's just different than Chillingham. The whole setting is different. GG is set in a friendly western village, and you godda shoot them bad guys.

Post 25 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Wednesday, 09-Jul-2008 11:35:01

The only thing I didn't like about Grizzly Gulch is the fact that the missions didn't change after you beat it. There should've been more than one set of missions.

Post 26 by DevilishAnthony (Just go on and agree with me. You know you want to.) on Wednesday, 09-Jul-2008 12:33:54

exactly. Chillingham has much more adventure. True, once you've played it, you've played it, the same with GG, but Chillingham does seem to have just a bit more to explore and concor.

Is their a demo of the game I can try out?

Post 28 by audio star (I love to post) on Wednesday, 09-Jul-2008 15:39:20

no, their is just a sound demo which gives you a look towards the game.
i think it is because of the full size of the game.
well thats what i herd on a website any way.
mind you i think a demo is a really good idea, and it should be looked in to more.

What do we do once we get to the swamp? I've used the raft to get to the island in the middle, but can't work out what to do from there.

Post 30 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Thursday, 18-Sep-2008 7:13:56

Does anyone know where we get the map for the forest from? I've got the hermit book now.

Post 31 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 08-Nov-2008 4:27:26

I've finished the game now, so took it off here.
